HOW TO PLAY TENNIS

You need a good racket and a good tennis ball.

One tennis player serves the ball.

The other player must hit the ball.

There are two basic ways to hit the ball: if the hit occurs without crossing the racket in front of the body, it is called drive; if the racket crosses the body to hit the ball, it is called setback.

BASIC  TENNIS  RULES

1. The players stand on opposite sides of the net.
2. The ball is served by one player.  It must pass overthe net.
3. The scoring system  is quite complex.
